TWIN CITIES GIVING VOICE CHORUSES
Our Joyful Choral Community

Giving Voice is a community of people living with all types of dementia, their care partners, and dedicated volunteers.
Each semester, singers of all abilities come together for weekly rehearsals to learn a new set of songs. A professional choral conductor leads these rehearsals and helps each unique group reach its potential for artistic excellence.
The semester culminates in a performance that highlights the singers' accomplishments and shares with our broader community how music and community bring joy, meaning, and purpose to people whose lives are affected by dementia.

Interested in volunteering in the Twin Cities?
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Giving Voice! Whether you're helping at our rehearsals, assisting in the office, or engaging with the community, there are many ways you can support our singers, their families, and our mission.
We invite you to find a volunteer opportunity that resonates with you and join us in making a meaningful impact.

To ensure a positive and supportive experience for everyone, all volunteers are asked to attend a volunteer orientation, including valuable training from Dementia Friends. The orientation lasts about two hours and takes place before each semester begins.
As part of our process, all volunteers will be asked to consent to a reference check.
We’re excited to welcome you to the Giving Voice community and look forward to working alongside you!
