Chorus members stand or sit in a group and raise their hands together. A large, bright windeow is behind them, illuminating the room. The singers are smiling joyfully.

Come As You Are

A daughter and father smiling, holding their Giving Voice music binders and wearing their concert attire of white shirts, black pants, and purple scarves. The daughter has wavy, strawberry blonde hair and wears her glasses up on her head, and the father has short white hair and a trimmed white beard.

My long-time friend is a part of the program, so my Dad and I came to a concert and just fell in love. We joined as soon as we could, and it's been remarkable for both of us. Before joining Giving Voice, we both had dreams of singing but were always too intimidated to follow through on that. And then we walked in the doors of a Giving Voice rehearsal, and the beauty of it is that regardless of your background or musicality everyone is welcome.

The choir is a safe space that creates a community where you can show up wherever you are at. The other day I heard my Dad tell his doctor that doing this every week is bringing him hope; it brought a tear to my eye. I couldn't agree more, Dad.

Redefine What's Possible

Giving Voice exists to inspire and support the creation of choruses across the world for people living with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias and their care partners.

We celebrate everyone's abilities and create a welcoming, supportive environment where you express yourself through music, form meaningful connections with people who understand your journey, and share joyful moments with your loved one.

Giving Voice harnesses the power of choral singing to reframe the narrative of a dementia diagnosis from loss to possibility, from isolation to inclusion. We offer a rich opportunity for joy, purpose, and belonging in community.

Care partners often find themselves navigating unfamiliar terrain, trying to provide the best care possible while grappling with their own emotions and fears. We offer a community where you can find solace, share experiences, and gain valuable insights from others who understand what you're going through.

Whatever your musical experience or ability, we invite you to join us in redefining what's possible for people living with dementia and their care partners.
