Kerry Murphy

Kerry started with Giving Voice in February 2026 as an accompanist. She’s been involved in music performance most of her life starting with singing, “On the Good Ship, Lollipop” in her grandparents’ senior singing group as a toddler all the way to her recent retirement from teaching piano after 40 years. She actively substitutes as a musician at area churches and accompanies for her middle school choir.

She and her husband have two grown children and love to spend their time traveling, trying new restaurants, and taking dance lessons. Kerry thinks it’s important to try new things no matter how good you become at them, and her most recent ambition is learning the accordion!
