About the event

Giving Voice is hosting a one-hour Dementia Friends Information Session to increase your understanding of dementia and help make our community dementia-friendly. You will learn five key messages about dementia, what it’s like to live with the disease, and how to turn your understanding into action that supports people living with dementia.

After the lovely Colleen Fritsch helps you become a Dementia Friend, Giving Voice's Choral Operations Director, Jessica Clifton, will highlight the key volunteer roles available to support our choirs. You don't need to plan to volunteer with Giving Voice to attend this training! Becoming a Dementia Friend strengthens our entire community.
